Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. The RN/LPN will play a crucial role in patient assessment, treatment, and education while ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment for all patients

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
• Assist with acute pain management strategies for patients.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patient conditions.
• Provide care for infants and seniors, ensuring their specific health needs are met.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in a Level I Trauma Center setting to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of illness within the facility.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in assisted living or senior care is preferred.
• Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment is a plus.
• Strong skills in vital signs monitoring and acute pain management.
• Knowledge of infection control practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Compassionate approach towards patient care with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to various healthcare settings and patient needs.
